Your Generosity at Work: A Winter Ministry Update from PHN

Apr 3, 2026 | Help & Hope

As we step into a new year, we are deeply grateful for the steady, faithful community that surrounds Pastors’ Hope Network. This year marks our 7th year of ministry, and we continue to be humbled by the way God uses people like you to bring help and hope to pastors and families walking through some of their hardest seasons.

Because of your generosity and prayerful support, pastors who feel alone are being reminded they are seen. Families navigating forced transitions are finding space to grieve and begin healing. Leaders who have poured themselves out for the Church are finally receiving care themselves. You are truly part of this work, and we want to share a glimpse of what God has been doing through your partnership.

Common Table Collaborative Global Gathering | Houston, TX

In January, our team attended the Common Table Collaborative Global Gathering in Houston, an annual convening that brings together quality academic researchers and frontline ministry practitioners from around the world to focus on pastoral well-being and the future of the Church. Researchers from institutions including Baylor University, Harvard Medical School, and the Hartford Institute for Religion Research joined with pastors, counselors, and ministry leaders to explore what makes a healthy church and how to create safe, supportive communities for those who serve.

PHN’s Executive Director, Deanna Harrison, led a breakout session, sharing Pastors’ Hope Network’s focused, practical approach to caring for pastors and their families. Many of PHN’s most impactful partnerships have grown out of relationships formed at gatherings like this, helping ensure pastors are supported with both wisdom and research-informed care.

A Visit of Gratitude | Christian Brothers Automotive

While in Houston, we also had the opportunity to visit the Christian Brothers Automotive corporate headquarters and personally thank their team for their generous support of PHN through past grants. It was a gift to meet members of their leadership team, tour their offices, and witness firsthand the Christ-centered foundation that shapes their work.

The words displayed on the wall behind us during our visit said it best: “To Glorify God.” We are deeply grateful for partners who share this heart for the Church and for those who care for the people who serve within it.

Supporting Pastors and Families in Transition

Because of your generosity, PHN launched a six-week couples cohort in January for five pastors and their spouses who recently experienced forced ministry transitions. Each week, these couples meet with a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist and are given space to process grief, uncertainty, and loss together.

This year also marked the fourth time PHN has offered its Women’s Cohort, an eight-week group led by a licensed trauma therapist that ran throughout January and February. This cohort provides a safe, supportive space for women connected to ministry leadership to process their experiences, share openly, and begin healing in community with others who understand the unique challenges of ministry life.

In these compassionate settings, participants are finding connection, support, and hope again. This kind of care is only possible because of faithful donors like you.

Thank you for making this ministry of restoration possible.

A Story of Hope | Hang and Kanade Tu’s Story

We are honored to share a short video testimony with you in this update. Stories like this reflect the quiet, sacred work happening behind the scenes. They are a reminder that your generosity is not just funding programs. It is meeting people in moments of deep vulnerability and helping restore hope when the road feels uncertain.

Thank You for Being Part of This Work

Your prayers, your generosity, and your faithfulness continue to shape the way PHN walks alongside pastors and their families. We never take that lightly. Thank you for being part of this ministry and for trusting us to steward what you give with care and integrity.

May the Lord continue to bless you as you bless others.
